Anna Hamilton’s jewellery is driven by a love of colour, design and the excitement of turning an idea into something tangible. Her multi-gemstone pieces combine turquoise, rose quartz, coral, lapis lazuli, citrine, onyx, lampwork glass, wood, pearls and sterling silver, creating vibrant jewellery designed to be worn and enjoyed.
Creativity has always been part of Anna’s life, whether through jewellery, painting, interiors, gardens or design. She is fascinated by colour, form and the way individual elements come together, and that same curiosity and energy runs through her jewellery.
Her designs are grounded in the belief that jewellery should work in everyday life while bringing something distinctive to what we wear. Alongside pieces available in the gallery, Anna also creates individual designs and commissions.
Anna developed her metalsmithing skills under master goldsmith and jeweller Dorthe Kristiensen in Wellington, attending her workshops for around eight years. Currently, her work focuses more on gemstones, combining colour, texture and unexpected materials in contemporary jewellery.
