

Jane is an established painter for over 50 years. She learnt the basics of oil painting at 17 and attended many workshops and night classes since.
In 1986 with her husband and 2 children, Jane moved to Waiheke Island where she was involved in the arts there while working full time. Jane opened her Southseas Studio from her beachfront home at Blackpool.
In 2004 she moved to Northland and taught after school classes from her Cowshed Studio and Quarry Arts Centre and still continued exhibiting at Waiheke and Northland.
In 2015 her work was published in the Important World Artist's book from USA.
Jane is now living at the coast and is in the annual Easter Whangarei Heads Art Trail and continues to teach Stepping Stones which is a Special needs art class at The Quarry Arts Centre for 15 years now.
