The set includes 4 lengths of ivory coloured recycled silk sari ribbon, use to secure the shroud closed after wrapping. Note that recycled sari is naturally frayed.
The set comes to you in a lined linen drawstring bag that can be used as an urn for cremation, or as a keepsake memento.
Suitable for an adult up to 6.5 ft if the person is placed diagonally on the fabric

Pure flax linen shroud hand dyed in a warm mustard yellow using onion skins. This is a gorgeous option for those wanting something simple and classic. The set includes 4 botanically printed silk satin ribbons. Yellow, gold and brown leaf prints on the ribbons are from Fern, Harakeke, Pōhutukawa and Cherry leaves. These wrap around the body to secure the fabric closed and add a touch of luxury. Both shroud and ties are enclosed in a simple repurposed linen bag for storage.

Silk Funeral Shroud

A pure silk satin shroud with striking and detailed leaf prints in hues of gold, copper and olive. Printed on an ivory background, the eucalypts and kowhai were gathered from the shores of Lake Wānaka in Te Wai Pounamu (Sth Island). The shroud comes with 3 silk satin ties hand dyed naturally in a soft olive green. Use ties to secure the shroud closed after wrapping. Both shroud and ribbons are enclosed in a matching silk and linen bag for storage. This bag is lined with woven cotton and is suitable as an urn for natural interment of ashes, or to keep as a memento. The shroud and sewing threads are 100% silk and suitable for both natural burial and water cremation.
